About that— We should care about objectification more
when the first thing the Nazis did to their "undesirables"
once they had total control over them was strip them of their belongings
and identifying social markers, dress them the same, and replace names
with numbers. This is objectification.
When you objectify (or dehumanize) a person, it becomes possible to
commit unconscionable acts against them.
This is also why those who are prostituted carry a dehumanizing stigma.
Most men who partake in the sexual slavery of women would not be able to without first objectifying them.
